Do you have a price preference?

If you would like to see all available bats under any price range then choose 'No' for price preference. If there is a price range or a maximum price that you would like to stay between then please choose 'Yes' for setting a price preference. Price, in general is related to the grade of material used in the bats. The higher grade of material being used, the higher the cost to the manufacturer to produce the bat. This also translates into higher performance and higher durability. This does not mean the higher priced bats are necessarily better in all cases, but, this is a general explanation of the price as it reflects to the material used in the bat.

Bat Coach Suggestion

Using the information you provided the Bat Coach, we suggest you use a  inch bat. Most  inch bats will range in weight from  to  ounces. The heavier bats usually produce more power behind each hit, where the lighter bats create faster bat speed to catch up with the faster pitchers. A  inch is our suggestion, however, if you are a bigger or stronger player in your age group you may want to go up an inch to a  inch bat if a larger size is available. If you are a smaller player for your age group, you may prefer to possibly move down an inch to a  inch to help generate more bat speed.

What type of wood bat would you like?

Maple - Maple bats are currently the most popular choice amongst Major League players, although choosing a bat is a lot of personal preference. Maple is a strong, stiff, and durable wood, making it ideal for power hitters and players that do not like much flex in their bat.

Ash - Ash is one of the most common woods used to make bats. Ash bats have a lightweight feel and provide more "give" than maple bats which makes them perfect for players looking for a wood bat with flex.

Bamboo - Since bamboo is naturally hollow, bamboo bats are constructed by compressing strips of bamboo together. This creates a very strong and durable, yet lightweight and elastic wood bat.

Birch - Birch is a relatively new wood for baseball bats. Birch offers players more flexibility than maple, with a lower breakage rate than ash.

Composite Wood - Composite wood bats are made from a combination of wood and various composite materials. These bats are extremely durable, but may not be legal for use in some leagues.
