New for 2012! One player and one team at a time, DeMarini has taken over the baseball world. Step on to a diamond anywhere in the country and you're bound to see players of any age swinging a DeMarini baseball bat. This season brings the return of the fan favorite "F" series with the release of the new F5 youth bat! Players might recognize this bat from the release of the CF5 earlier this season. The difference between the two: the SC4 Doublewall Alloy barrel on the F5. This structure controlled alloy maximizes the sweet spot with the strongest and thinnest aluminum walls to create maximum trampoline effect! The handle is made from DeMarini's new TR3 Strut Composite which has a molecular structure designed to efficiently transfer power from a player's hands to the barrel. This allows for a balanced feel and consistency in every swing! The handle is wrapped with a two-piece Hybrid Performance Grip that gives players ultimate comfort and tack. The F5 is topped off with an N2M End Cap that is scientifically tuned to absorb vibration while maximizing power. DeMarini: Insane Dedication to Performance! The F5 is approved for play in Little League, Babe Ruth, Dixie, Pony, AABC, and USSSA. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: Love this bat! 10 year old who's been swinging a 29in 18oz. bat in Little League, looking for more weight after swinging big barrels all summer playing AAU. Moved up to the 30/20 version of this bat and is killing the ball. Highly recommend!

Ask QuestionIs this bat legal for use in Little League in 2012? Bat is not listed as approved on Little League website.
Asked by mt05450 on Apr 10, 2012
The DXAFL has an alloy barrel and is 100% approved for play in Little League this year. Even if it is not on their approved list, it still meets all requirements as stated under Rule 1.10 in Little League's rule book. It is good to go.
