New for 2012! The word Vendetta means, "any prolonged and bitter feud or rivalry." If you play competitive baseball, the odds are you have a bitter rival. This is the bat that will settle the score. Introducing the new DeMarini Vendetta! The Vendetta features a two-piece design with a SC4 Alloy barrel and a hybrid composite handle. The SC4 Alloy uses DeMarini's proprietary aluminum extrusion process to provide a thickness tuned wall that extends down the entire length of the barrel. This creates a wicked sweetspot that can stand up every crushing blow it will endure during the course of a season. The Internal Rails hybrid handle turns the entire barrel into one big sweetspot. It's constructed with two distinct materials - A softer outer material that cushions impact and strategically inserted composite support rails that add stiffness to maintain a consistent and optimal swing. The Vendetta also features Half and Half Technology that redistributes weight to give the bat optimal balance. This gives players the ability to swing faster with less effort; ultimately resulting in more power! DeMarini: Insane Dedication to Performance! The Vendetta is approved for play in all major youth leagues that allow 2 1/4 inch barrels. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

by 67air - Oct 12, 2011
Pros: My Son loves it ! He has about 200 hits with it at the batting cage & it's still being broken it.Nice POP !
Cons: None so far.
by DeMarini Reviewer - Feb 19, 2012
Pros: The bat has great pop. The end-cap will surely bring pleasure to the hands. The Half-and-Half Technology is an amazing add-on to the bat.
Cons: The slippery grip is the only concern.
by mvc23 - Mar 21, 2012
Pros: Nice Bat in general....but....
Cons: I coach our local Little League and purchase much of the Teams' Equipment. Apparently all new 2011-2012 DeMarini Bats are approximately 1.5oz to 2.0oz heavier than stamped....the kids could not swing it! 30"-18oz 12-Drop weighed 19.4oz! Easton, Worth, Mattingly all right on the nose with regard to proper weight when tested! We tested 4 other DeMarini Models, all overweight the same or more! Size Waaaay down if buying a new DeMarini Youth Bat!

Pros: my boy loves the look, sounds good but.....

Yes. The Vendetta will be legal for Little League in 2013.
· May 04, 2012
Is this Bat approved for Little League use? We purchased in fall 2011 and were told it would be approved for 2012 use. I did not see the it on the 2012 licensed bats list on the Little League website. Can you send the approval letter from little league? Thanks
Asked by tim on Apr 19, 2012
The DXVTL is 100% legal for Little League. An approval letter is not needed, as this bat meets all the rules and regulations as stated under Rule 1.10 in Little League's handbook (as the disclaimer states on Little League's bat list). For more information, or if you do need confirmation directly from Little League, please visit LittleLeague.org.

Unfortunately, we don't know the rules that will be set forth by Babe Ruth in 2013. For further information you can contact your local Babe Ruth representative. For a complete list of representatives please check out their website; ttp://www.baberuthleague.org/side-indexes/latest-rule-changes.html.

Is there a break in period on this bat. The ball isn't coming off the bat very well at all!
Asked by MG on Apr 09, 2012
Since this bat has an alloy barrel, there is not a break in period required for this bat. Only composite barrel bats require a break in.

If this bat is legal without the USSSA stamp, how long will it be legal for?
Asked by Mitch on Mar 11, 2012
This bat will be legal for the 2012 season. However, since it does not have the new USSSA stamp, it will not be legal for use in 2013.
· Mar 11, 2012
I like the anti vibration properties of this bat based off the user reviews! However, the model number is not listed on the approved bats for little league in 2012, are you sure this bat is properly rated to play in little league games, both normal season and tournament?
Asked by BobbyF on Mar 08, 2012
Yes, this bat is Little League approved. According to Little Leagues website, the list is not a list of all bats that can be used. As long as the bat meets all the specifications and standards for the specific division of play in question, it need not carry the Little League trademark. The DXVTL states Little League approved on the barrel. Many small barrel bats that have alloy barrels will be approved for Little League's.

Asked by Glenn on Dec 20, 2011
I would go withe the 28-16, since he is now 9, he is getting stronger, and needs a bat with a little more substance to it.
