Review Summary

New for 2012! The DXVTR features the USSSA 1.15 stamp and is legal for use in 2012. The word Vendetta means, "any prolonged and bitter feud or rivalry." If you play competitive baseball, the odds are you have a bitter rival. This is the bat that will settle the score. Introducing the new DeMarini Vendetta! The Vendetta features a two-piece design with a SC4 Alloy barrel and a hybrid composite handle. The SC4 Alloy uses DeMarini's proprietary aluminum extrusion process to provide a thickness tuned wall that extends down the entire length of the barrel. This creates a wicked sweetspot that can stand up every crushing blow it will endure during the course of a season. The Internal Rails hybrid handle turns the entire barrel into one big sweetspot. It's constructed with two distinct materials - A softer outer material that cushions impact and strategically inserted composite support rails that add stiffness to maintain a consistent and optimal swing. The Vendetta also features Half and Half Technology that redistributes weight to give the bat optimal balance. This gives players the ability to swing faster with less effort; ultimately resulting in more power! DeMarini: Insane Dedication to Performance! It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: Typical pop for a Vendetta, my son traded in his 2009 for the 2012 and said its the best one yet. Cool graphics. Grip is superior to previous bats too.
Cons: None yet.
Pros: Bat has good "pop" to it. Seems well balanced. Great bat for the youngster that gets the barrel on the ball. Replaced an Easton Steatlh Speed -11 that had cracked after 4 months of use. Read instructions concerning rotating bat after each swing, very easy to miss instructions on the back of the sticker.
Cons: none thus far
Pros: Very balanced for a Demarini. Bat has a ton of POP! This bat might be the best of the 2012 lineup.
Cons: None so far
Pros: Really good bat. Has a lot of pop. Like the design on it
Cons: none so far
Pros: A good solid sound. Big sweet spot.
Cons: Rings if you hit it on the rails.
Pros: Best bat i have ever owned i use it my whole team uses it and has not craked or dented yet. also many homeruns have been hit with it on a 13u team with a 325ft fence so great pop
Cons: none
Pros: Very good Pop. Bat seems durable, and swings very balanced for Demarini.
Cons: No
Pros: a beast all around everyone wants to barrow it nice balance great pop should be 300 dollars
Cons: none
Pros: an all around sweet spot
Cons: nothing
Pros: Great Pop! No signs of denting through several games. Very balanced feel
Cons: none
Pros: Very nice pop. Great balance. Top notch grip. Ball is launched from sweet spot! Killer looking!!
Cons: None
Pros: Excellent bat for 12 year old travel player. No sting, good pop, very well balanced. DeMarini should market this one more!
Cons: none
Pros: So far so good. The ball really jumps of the bat. My son likes the balance of the bat too.
Cons: None so far.
Pros: Good pop, well balanced, no vibration when hitting. Bought for my 11 year old son last fall, he used it indoors all winter and loved it. Just had our first tournament he put 60% of his hits deep outfield and bounced one over the fence. My son does not have an explosive swing(usually singles and double), he was amazed at how far the ball carried. 3 of his teammates are now using it and also driving the ball deep.
Cons: none so far
Pros: Well Balanced bat, has a solid impact when in the sweet-spot
Cons: Purchased bat to replace son's 2012 Worth Lithium Prodogy - unfortunately after trying both, he wants to keep the Worth. Consistently 15-20 yards greater distance with the Worth Lithium.
Pros: The bat was awesome!. My son starting hitting the ball really far right from the first swing. This bat is evenly distributed and we saw immediate results. It was worth every penny!

Ask QuestionIs this bat BBCOR certified? Can we use in Babe Ruth 13-15 league?
Asked by Juanita on Mar 29, 2012
This bat is not BBCOR certified. Only adult -3 bats will have that certification. This bat has an alloy barrel and should be 100% legal in a 13-15 year old Babe Ruth league. Only composite barrel bats are required to be BBCOR certified in this league. However, since rules do change from league to league, I would suggest checking with your coach or league official to make sure before buying the bat.

2012 DeMarini Vendetta DXVTR Senior League: Is this bat legal for use in Babe Ruth baseball AND New Hampshire High School baseball? Thanks.

The DXVTR IS approved for Babe Ruth. It IS NOT approved for High School baseball. All High School bats must an Adult -3 BBCOR bat, which this bat is not.

I was looking at a 27-17 TPX Catalyst, but I guess my sons PONY league doesn't allow composite bats. Is this DeMarini bat eligible?
Asked by ckruss11 on Feb 13, 2012
Pony allows 2 5/8 inch barrel bats. The Catalyst -10 and the Vendetta -9 are legal in Pony League.

The 2012 model uses newer technology for better performance.

whish is better the vexxum or the vendetta for a 12 year old
Asked by hrking on Feb 06, 2012
Both the Vendetta and Vexxum are both two piece bats designed for a contact hitter. If your son is strong I would suggest the -9 in the Vendetta.

Can this bat be used in the cage with yellow dimpled balls?
Asked by T-Bone on Dec 11, 2011
We advise not using the bat with dimple balls, it tends to reduce the lifespan on the bats

My son is 8 yrs old and playing on a 10u travelball team would this be a good bat for him. he needs more bat speed, he is has a 28/20 now
Asked by bayhawg1 on Sep 07, 2011
Yes, this would be a very good bat for him. This bat is going to be one of the better alloy barrel bats out there for this year. DeMarini has proven that they make a great bat and this one is no exception. I think it is a good idea to go down to a -10 for 10 year old.

whats the weight of this bat?
Asked by kam man on Jun 09, 2011
This bat has a drop 9 length to weight ratio. That means in order to determine the weight of the bat in ounces, simply subtract 9 from the lenght of the bat in inches. For example, a 30 inch bat will weigh 21 ounces (30-9=21). A 31 inch bat will weigh 22 ounces (31-9=22)...and so on.

ive been shopping and im stuck beetween 2012 voodoo and 2012 vendetta which one is better?
Asked by beastman on May 31, 2011
Based on feedback from customers, the 2012 Voodoo will be a little better performing. The composite used in the handle on the Voodoo is a little stronger. The Vendetta is an excellent bat, just may be a notch below the Voodoo.
John Expert · Jun 01, 2011
