Pros: Really cool bat that's well balanced. It's light which means better control and higher bat speed. The ball really seems to jump off the bat's oversized sweet spot. Tremendous value for the money...every bit as good a bats costing twice as much.
Cons: Your window replacement guy is gonna love you.

Ask QuestionCan you tell me the difference between this model and the Easton "Surge"?
Asked by Shawn on May 11, 2012
The 2012 Easton Reflex is a one piece all aluminum bat. The Easton Surge is a two piece, composite handle and aluminum barrel bat. Both will be similar in performance, but the Surge will have a little more flex to it when it is swung, to help contact type hitters get the bat head through the zone.

I wanted to get my son this bat but his old bat is a 31" 20 oz. Will this weight difference effect him?
Asked by david on May 01, 2012
If your son needs quicker bat speed, the 31" 18 oz will be fine. If he has quite a bit of power, we recommend not to decrease in weight.

Is the bat approved for Little League use?
Asked by Ndirish on Apr 20, 2012
The 2012 Easton Reflex is approved for play in Little League.

Looking to buy a bat for my granddaughter. This is her first year playing T-ball, and is 9 yrs old. What bat do you recommend and what size & weight?
Asked by Vence on Apr 19, 2012
For a 9 year old playing tee ball, I would recommend a bat around 29 inches with a weight between 16 and 18 ounces.
· Apr 19, 2012
Sizing for a 10 year old, travel LL. He is about 4 foot 4 and 90 pounds. Looking at 30 in 17 oz. Does that sound right?
Asked by Lori L on Apr 11, 2012
Based on his height and weight, he's right on the edge between a 29 and 30 inch model. I think if you go with a 30 inch 17 ounce model, he'll be very successful with that size.

Just bought this for my 7 year old. Can he hit real baseballs with this bat? 20 feet away, easy pitches for batting practice.
Asked by jmac on Apr 09, 2012
Yes. Youth baseball bats like this one, are designed to be used with real baseballs.

Does this bat have "BPF 1.15" stamped on it?
Asked by Jen on Mar 29, 2012
The Easton Reflex will state on the barrel that it is USSSA BPF 1.15. It will not have the "thumbprint" stamp that the big barrels are requiring.
· Mar 29, 2012
Does it have the 2012 USSSA stamp?
Asked by Tom on Mar 06, 2012
No. This bat does not have the new USSSA stamp. USSSA will not require this new stamp on youth small barrel bats until 2013
· Mar 06, 2012
This particular bat features the old USSSA stamp, but not the new one. The old stamp is being grandfathered in for the 2012 season, and this bat is legal for use in 2012.
· Mar 06, 2012
How Heavy is this bat? Would it be suitable for my 6 year old son?
Asked by Chuy on Feb 15, 2012
This model would have a -13 length to weight ratio. Easton has designed this bat to be very well balanced giving it a lighter swing weight. This would work great for a player of all ages.

how does this bat compare to the more expensive.bats

· Sep 30, 2011
How does this bat compare to the Easton LX70? What is the difference? Is it worth the extra money?
Asked by Robert on Sep 11, 2011
The biggest difference is going to be the alloy that is used in the barrel of the bat. The LX73 is going to use a newer technology and is going to be a hotter bat. The LX73 will also be a more durable bat.
