Pros: I love this bat. Ton of pop and a really long barrel. Lousville Slugger has done it again.
Cons:
Pros: We just purchase 3 of these bats all different lengths for our 13 and Under traveling baseball team that has just gotten started. The boys love them. Bats have a a lot of energy and performed well for us in our 1st tournament. No visible issue with dings or dents or paint after initial use and have been using them regularly for 3 weeks now. Appear to be excellent bats for the money.
Cons: None to date.
Pros: Great bat!!!! Son love the way it feels and the ball sails off the bat. Worth the money!
Cons:
Pros: my son is 12 yrs old and loves the bat. i took him and a friend to hit and they hit 11-12 homeruns the first time out. great pop
Cons: none
Pros: This bat is really good. Even if you don't hit it on the sweet spot, the ball still goes stupid far.
Cons: NONE
Pros: The bat has pop.
Cons: After two weeks of use by my 13u kid, it feels more like a cricket bat. This thing is flattened on both sides now. Will see what Louisville Slugger says about the replacement. Rating would be higher if it held up to more than 2 weeks worth of use.
Pros: Wow, awesome bat, what did LS do to this thing they call Omaha??? We have tried all bats and previous Omahas, son was amazed by distance/feel and sound!!!
Cons: Much more pop than previous years Omahas--Is this LS's response to the Rival??? Bigger Barrel--huge pop & distance--Way to go LS!
Pros: It's nice looking and has some pop to it.
Cons: After only one BP session, the 29/19 I purchased for my 10-year-old was badly dented. I was shocked that it didn't hold up longer than that. I plan on sending back for a warranty replacement, but I feel like I wasted $180. I've already replaced it with a new CF5 which is by far a better bat.
Pros: Feels solid, has a large hitting surface and a ton of pop! 12u son has been swinging it for a few months now and it has shown very little signs of denting or damage! Great durability. Can't beat this bat for the price!
Cons: Grip is weak, but other than than no real complaints.
Pros: None
Cons: This bat dented badly right on the barrel when my 11 year old son hit a home run. Another dent on the other side of the barrel on his next at bat. He likes the feel of the bat but it is not worth buying. Didn't make it through one tournament. Sending it back.
Pros:
Cons: Not as much "pop" as previous bats have had but seems to be holding up well (we've already been through 2 of the new bats, each getting dented within a few uses), grip ok
Pros: Ordered bat for my son based on being recommended by just bats customer service rep and my son Loves it... great pop and he is very excited to use it this weekend
Cons: None yet
Pros: great confidence booster!!!!!
Cons:
Pros: First tournament of the year and my 12-yr old hit his first homerun!!! This bat is hot and has shown no signs of wear so far. Been through many rounds of BP and one tourney and shows that TPX consistency.
Cons:
Pros: Great bat for stronger hitters. This bat will launch balls. Bat is well balanced.
Cons: Sweet spot is small compared to some other 2 3/4" bats.
Pros: Hits good, super lightweight
Cons: expense and thats about it! Love the bat!
Pros: - Bat is weighted heaver toward the end which seems to transfer alot of power through the ball - My son is hitting better with this bat than he did with the Worth Lithium Prodigy bat which is at a similar price point - Bat seems to be forgiving with a large sweet spot
Cons: - Plastic tip on the top seems to "rattle" slightly when the bat touches the ground. May just be that I'm not used to this since my son's previous bat was the Worth Lithium Prodigy which was all aluminum through the end
Pros: Bought the 27/17 for my son that is in coach pitch. Nice bat with allot of pop and good weight distribution. Easily outperforms the other expensive bats on the team.
Cons: None yet. Had it so far for 2 tournaments with no issues.
Pros: well-balanced..good pop..looks good..well designed
Cons: grip is not compatible with bare hands..even with gloves..odd feeling..bat should have different grip
Pros: Balls jumps off bat.My 10 hit his first Homerun of the season the first time he used this bat.
Cons: none
Pros: My 8 yr old playing travel ball for first time started using the 27/17 XL and is consistently hitting the backwall of indoor ball. His teammates love the bat as well.
Cons: Aluminum bats are naturally very malleable. They dent easily but that's the nature of the material. You get what you pay for in this bat. You can spend more $$ for a more durable composite like the CF5.
Pros: All the boys like it
Cons: Its got three dings from 13U players
Pros: Its a great bat. Lots of pop, good barrel and very light great bat
Cons:
Pros: We bought a 29/19 and a 28/18 for out 9U travel team. The kids love these bats and get great pop off of the bat. Players have several of the other Big Barrel bats but right now these are the most used bats on the team. First game out we put up 18 runs. Kids have confidence in these bats and that is everything.
Cons: Nothing bad at this time.
Pros: Omaha always a solid bat. Son has been using them through 3 years of travel ball. Generally performs at least as well as much more expensive bats.
Cons: Very unforgivingto balls not hit the sweet spot. Still able to be driven, but more sting thsan most when hit off the barrel or the taper
Pros: Great bat for a great price
Cons: Love this bat
Pros: Just received Friday & used for coach pitch BP today with 2 All-Star 6U's (about 300 hits). Excellent pop, especially off the sweet spot. Ball seemed to carry well. Competitive, if not better that Rival (27/17) All-Star team uses. Can't wait to see in game action!! Great sound off bat too!
Cons: None thus far, brand new bat but BP put smiles on our face and they both loved using!!
Pros: Loads of pop. My 7 year old loves his 27/17 and so do his team mates. They are hitting the the ball like crazy.
Cons: None. Great service from JustBats.com. I'll be back for sure.
Pros: Beautifully designed, great pop, and a huge hitting surface. All of the kids on our 13U team love the bat, and after over a month of use there is no noticeable defects. Great investment!
Cons: Some don't like the grip, but LS has never been known for their grips. All personal preference there anyway.

Can this be used for Coach Pitch this season, then Kid Pitch next season?
Asked by soccermom! on Feb 21, 2012
Absolutely, this bat can be used in either leagues. Kid Pitch bats have thicker walls making the bat more durable than a coach pitch bat.
Kris Expert · Feb 21, 2012
Is it common for this bat to dent? I see a couple of bad post about denting.
Asked by mike on Feb 05, 2012
The most common complaint about any aluminum bat is denting. But the 2012 Louisville Slugger TPX Omaha is a durable bat with great pop.

I am debating between this bat and the 2012 Easton S3. All things equal, which bat do you think is better quality? Thanks.
Asked by pedroman74 on Dec 19, 2011
Quality, both are great bats. But in order to give you more informed advice, give our reps a call so they can ask you some questions to determine which one is best for your particular batting style.

What is the main differences between this model and the SL126 or the YB126BB? My son will be playing U8 coach pitch travel this spring and needs a big barrel bat. He has been using the easton stealth speed composite(28/17) for rec league and was having some problem getting around on the ball consistently. He used another boys RivalBB(27/17) and was hitting line drives like never before. I believe this has a lot to do with how the weigh is distributed in the bat.
Asked by Coach Mike on Dec 14, 2011
The difference between the SL126 and the SL126XL is the barrel size...the XL is a 2 3/4 ' barrel opposed to the SL126 being a 2 5/8". The YB126BB is a 2 3/4 ' barrel also, but uses a different alloy, I personally don't recommend the YB to kids older than 7-8 yrs old.
Linda Expert · Dec 14, 2011
Have a U8 boy, good size though. How does this compare to the YB126BB Jr Big Barrel? I see different alloys, will one have more pop for that age?
Asked by Brent on Dec 13, 2011
I like the Omaha, nice balance, big sweet spot and great pop!
Linda Expert · Dec 13, 2011
How does the pop on this bat compare to the Easton S3 and Worth Lithium Prodigy? Are any more end loaded vs. balanced? Thanks
Asked by Brent on Dec 12, 2011
All three are going to perform similar. They are all one piece alloy bats, and balanced. You can't go wrong with any of the bats.
K.B. Expert · Dec 13, 2011
My son is 13 years old and i am looking for a good bat for him. Is a -5 appropriate for his age group?
Asked by dad on Nov 09, 2011
I would double check with the league directly, as there are some new weight restrictions on certain older age groups. Some are requiring a -3 bbcor bat.
Linda Expert · Nov 09, 2011
According to the Babe Ruth website barrel can only be 2 5/8. This bat is 2 3/4 which would not be legal ?
Asked by Mike on Nov 05, 2011
Yes, if the league only allows a 2 5/8" barrel than this bat is not going to be legal
Sean Expert · Nov 05, 2011

Asked by chazbuc on Oct 30, 2011
Yes. It has the new USSSA stamp (see prodcut images).

Asked by D on Oct 14, 2011
No. All high school bats are adult models and must be BBCOR certified.
Kara Expert · Oct 14, 2011
is this a good bat for power hitters my son is 13 and looking for a new bat?
Asked by bigboy12 on Oct 08, 2011
Really any bat that is a stiffer bat. Any one piece bat will work well. The omaha is a great option. It is duralble and has good pop.
Mark Expert · Oct 09, 2011
trying to decide between the TPX Omaha and the Lithium Prodigy for my 10yr old. What is your recommendation?
Asked by cbart on Sep 09, 2011
Both are great bats. The Prodigy may have a little more pop, but the Omaha will probably be a little more durable. Kind of depends on what's more important to you, pop or durability.
