The White Dragon is a 2 piece hybrid design, which will have more flex to it, and the Ignite is a one piece all alloy, which has a stiffer flex.

The one piece is going to be more for a power hitter because it is stiffer. A two piece bat is going to provide more flex because it has a composite handle.

Are you talking about where the barrel meets the handle? This is a two-piece bat and that taper is normal.
