Pros: I bought this bat for my 8 y.o. Son mid way through his first year of instructional league, up until then he was still using his wooden T-Ball bat. This is a great bat and he has hit very well with it.

Ask QuestionWhat is the weight of the 25" and the 26" ABCO wood bats? Trying to understand the differnce in the two. 8 year old playing coach pitch.
Asked by mike on May 07, 2012
The 25" and 26" Americas Bat Co. Maple Wood bat have an approximate drop of -5 to -7. The 25" would weigh approximately 18oz to 20oz. The 26" would weight approximately 19oz to 21oz.

What size of bat if my son uses a 31/ 19 aluminum bat?
Asked by Weswaylon on Apr 15, 2012
The MDLY has an approximate -6 length to weight ratio. If your son uses a 31/19 non-wood bat, I would recommend the MDLY in a 28 inch model. The 28 inch MDLY will weigh around 21 or 22 ounces and shouldn't be too big of a jump up in weight.
