Baden Sports is proud to present their revolutionary new line of BBCOR baseball bats! If you've never heard of Baden's patented AXE handle, you're missing out. The revolutionary design is exactly what it sounds like. The handle of an AXE bat is designed like the handle of an actual axe to provide optimal control and grip of the bat. This asymmetrical handle is biomechanically engineered for a flush fit and assists in keeping a hitter on the correct swing plane. As a result, players get better barrel accuracy and a decreased risk of injury and hand fatigue. The AXE Elite BBCOR features a two-piece design with Baden's Plus Plus Composite Handle and an LP Scandium Alloy Barrel. The LP, or Longitudinal Performance, Alloy is enhanced aluminum that is designed to lengthen the sweet spot and increase durability. The AXE Elite also features an evenly balanced swing weight with optimum flex to give players maximum bat speed and massive trampoline effect on impact. Baden is so sure you'll love this bat, they are offering a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee. If for some reason the Baden AXE is not for you, just send it back to them... no questions asked. With maximum legal performance, wider and more forgiving sweet spots, outstanding durability, and a performance guarantee, there is no reason not to give Baden's new BBCOR bat a shot! Plus, for a limited time, when you buy a Baden BBCOR bat, you'll receive a FREE BBCOR Certified Baden AXE L170 Premium Hard Maple Composite Wood Bat! Baden Sports: More Power. More Solid Contact! The AXE Elite is BBCOR Certified and approved for high school and collegiate play. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Review This Batby Pie - Oct 24, 2011
Pros: Wow, great sound, and definitly in the top 3 best bbcor's out there.
Cons:
by poteet 25 - Feb 02, 2012
Pros: comfortable handle, seems to help me get on top of ball(MORE LINE DRIVES!!) AS good pop as Rawlings 5150
Cons: none yet
by Azle BB - Feb 02, 2012
Pros: the bat has a lot of pop and feels really good through the strike zone. First time out I hit one to the fence so it has enough pop for a BBCore.
Cons: Wished I had this last year. Have not really tried the wood bat yet on the field, just batting cage stuff so far.
by slugger - Jan 20, 2012
Pros: improved bat speed and more solid contact.
Cons: can't find one!
by pure power - Feb 14, 2012

Cons:
by J-Bomb - Mar 18, 2012

Cons: None
by lank - Mar 24, 2012

Cons: none
by Donnie - Apr 09, 2012
Pros: Feel
Cons: Bat dented within 2 weeks. Shipped back overnight at my expense. Nobody there to sign for it when it arrived. 3 days later was advised they would ship a new one. They shipped it UPS ground and it will be 10 days getting here. Season is almost over, seems like a lot of money for a bat that didn't make the season and customer service seriously lacking. I did get the standard apology when I contacted the company. I would not buy another one and wish I had not bought this one.

the elite's barrel looks a little bit bigger than the elements barrel, are they different sizes, or am i wrong?
Asked by Nickname on Jan 18, 2012
They are both 2 5/8 inch barrels.
· Jan 18, 2012
is this bat more balanced then the anderson nonotek bbcor baseball batt?
Asked by baseballer on Jan 13, 2012
Both will be very balanced in feel
· Jan 14, 2012
will this bat be like the normal bbcor two peice bats and lag behind
Asked by catchers questions on Dec 14, 2011
Admittedly, BBCOR bats do hit differently, not sure about lagging though.
· Dec 14, 2011
Why is the end of the bat that way?
Asked by Bulls2412 on Dec 12, 2011
This is designed to have the feeling of using an axe. Baden is the only company that does this as it helps by adding power to your swing.

So we live in Seattle and during the HS baseball season it is rarely over 60 degrees, what bats should the kids be using?
Asked by JC Nelson on Dec 06, 2011
Any wood or alloy bats are going to be best suited for cold climates.
· Dec 06, 2011
Is there a problem with the bat because of always hitting the ball on the same area?
Asked by Mike Jones on Dec 01, 2011
I have not heard on this issue, the bat is under warranty for 1 year. You can send the bat to the manufacture and they will replace it.
· Dec 01, 2011
The idea of the Axe handle seems great but arent you confined to only 1 area of the bat? in other words you cant have the bat handle face any other direction
Asked by tripleplay on Nov 17, 2011
The handle is designed to be most efficient for better control and awesome grip.
· Nov 17, 2011
One of your other workers "linda" said that this bat is a wood bat, and has no ping. Is this true?
Asked by q on Oct 21, 2011
Yes, the L170 is a wood bat. The L130 is a half and half design with a composite handle and an alloy barrel.
· Oct 22, 2011
Does this bat have a loud ping, or does it have a dud sound like other bbcor.
Asked by tom on Oct 20, 2011
I will not have a ping sound because it is composite wood.
· Oct 20, 2011
would this bat be worth buying if it had a normal handle? is the bat itself top class?
Asked by tom on Oct 15, 2011
This will be a pretty good performing hybrid BBCOR bat. It may not be a top-tier bat, but it's definitely better than a lot of others. The handle's really just a personal preference. I know some people who like it, and others who just can't get used to it.
· Oct 17, 2011
What makes this bat and its handle better then any other bat?
Asked by sam on Oct 13, 2011
The Axe handle just gives the hitter more control and a better grip. It also helps the hitter make sure they are holding the bat properly.
· Oct 14, 2011
will there ever be a video of this bat?
Asked by chinnychinchin on Oct 10, 2011
Since it is a new bat, I'm sure we will be doing one soon. I forwarded your request for one to our Media Dept.

Like to know if the bat are both legal in college ball games? My son likes the style of the bat but playing college ball in the NAIA Midwest team. Thanks Dell
Asked by Dell on Sep 26, 2011
Both bats are BBCOR certified making them legal for play in High School and at all college levels.
· Sep 26, 2011
We live in Colorado and our spring season is cool at best, how does this bat react to 60 degree temps, sometimes cooler?
Asked by Boots on Sep 22, 2011
It should still be ok in 60 degrees, but I would be careful going much below that.
· Sep 23, 2011
What makes this bat so goo and worth 299.99?
Asked by Redbirds 44 on Sep 21, 2011
Besides the fact that with the purchase of this bat you get a L170 Maple Composite BBcor wood bat for free, but the unique design of the Axe handle gives the hitter more control and a better grip.
