Review Summary
based on 161 ratings. 161 user reviews.
The Brett Brothers entered the bat business with the goal of ensuring that coaches at all levels of baseball have access to superior quality composite wood bats that are cost effective. Consistency and durability were the primary factors when establishing their bat designs. The Brett Brothers have been involved in baseball their entire lives, through Bobby and John's Minor League careers to the Professional careers of Ken and George. The Brett Brothers know baseball. Even today baseball is an important part of their lives, with each brother being involved in their own way. George, who is still a part of the Kansas City Royals Organization and a hometown hero here in Kansas City, was a career .305 hitter with 3 Batting Titles, a 1985 World Series Ring and an induction to the Hall of Fame in 1999 to round out his 21 year career in Kansas City. Not only did he prove to be a consistent hitter he showed that he had the knowledge to succeed. The Brett Brothers understood that having reliable wood was an important component. This is why they implemented their 3-piece laminating system along with their patented Boa fiberglass reinforcement that is applied to the handle. The MB110 combines the bamboo core of the Bamboo Dragon and maple laminates to create a bat with unparalleled durability. Brett Brothers: The Very Best in Baseball! The MB110 is now BBCOR Certified and legal for High School and Collegiate Play! Free Shipping!

Pros: AWESOME! Bought one for my son as a freshman in high school. He is now a Senior and is still hitting with the same bat, while others have broken bat after bat.
Cons:
by smitty16 - Jan 17, 2012
Pros: will not break, I have taken countless shots on the tip or handle and has not broken at all. Essentially, this has the durability of an aluminum bat but is a wood bat, which is what it is. I watched team mates break lots of louisville sluggers, maruccis and other brands while this one kept holding up. Do not buy the straight up maple, this one is more durable with the same pop and price. This bat is the best value in baseball.
Cons: Not more color choices
by my5sons - Jan 21, 2012
Pros: Killer bat with killer pop! My son hits the ball better with this bat than any BBCOR bat. All BRETT BATS are BBCOR certified..
Cons: It doesn't come in a 243 model!
by King 95 - Apr 25, 2011
Pros: Great pop for a wood bat. You can kind of feel the ball shoot of the bat when the ball hits the sweet spot. Makes a really nice sound too! Also, the bat feels really nice when you swing it and is balanced well. Overall, a great bat! I plan on using it a lot. Great price too. You should definitely buy this bat!
Cons: sting is bad if you hit the ball off the very end of the bat (like the last 1/2 to 3/4 in. of it) but that was on a cold day so the sting was worse than normal for the metal bats too. Shouldn't happen though unless you chase an obviously outside pitch, which I did that time.
by Phillies - Mar 21, 2012
Pros: This bat is like no other. The first hit you get with it you will understand. It was iffy when i ordered it in the mail but the first day first hit was a 320ft bomb over the fence.
Cons: NO SUCH THING AS A CON FOR THIS MB110
by OP - Jun 22, 2009
Pros: Bamboo bends but doesn't break. The bat will last. Half the team used the bat and it lasted a year and a half. Maintained a nice sweet spot through out it's life.
Cons: The new bats come with a different finish. The handle looks like a plastic toy bat and the barrel is chipping a bit. That did not occur with the first bat that I purchased.
by Tubagger - Oct 26, 2011
Pros: Wasn't quite sure what I'd get for $59.99 but I took a leap of faith. Received the bat today, went to the cage and it's a GEM. Really like the 'grooved' handle. Tapered handle fits nicely in my hands. I may even sleep with it tonight!! This bat is going to Florida with me for the Roy Hobbs Wood Bat Tournament.
Cons: Sorry I didn't have the foresight to order 2!!
by rndert - Mar 04, 2012
Pros: great feel, makes solid contact
Cons: none
by TacoKing - Mar 21, 2012
Pros: this bat in my eyes is better than the marucci brand i have swung a marucci but the bamboo and maple is imposible to beat it just that good
Cons: Their shouldnt be a con for this model, just saying
by bert - Apr 22, 2012
Pros: the towel did wonders!
Cons:
by ryan - Jul 13, 2009
Pros: i have used this bat for almost two seasons and it is still not broken. tons of pop. its a great bat and would highly recommend it
Cons:
by Silver Foxes 18 - Sep 23, 2009
Pros: My easiest bat to control (32/29)! Very nice balance. The ball rockets off the bat on solid contact. Had a few handle shots, but this bat will not break. It's going to make a great batting practice bat some day :-)
Cons: The maple layer does dent easily. When the bat hits the dirt, rocks will produce chips and dents. On hits, you can see the stitching from the ball imprinted on the maple layer.
by chsbaseball - Dec 03, 2011
Pros: Im in highschool and bought this bat and it worked wonders for me through my fall ball season and is still durable and has heavy pop while i am using it for indoor hitting. The barrel is small but i like it because there is still a large sweetspot and the weight distribution is well balanced. Also it has killer looks.
Cons: none
by ColoradoBen - Feb 26, 2012
Pros: This bat is beast! I use it in the Denver NABA 18+ AAA league, and it always performs. Whether in the cage for bp, or when it's game time, this bat is the real deal. Solid handle with very little flex in the handle, and the barrel has plenty of sweet spot, with tons of flex there with the bamboo core. I love it and I will buy another soon.
Cons: I didn't buy two to begin with.
by Jason - Mar 01, 2012
Pros: Nice weight and solid bat. Like any wood bat if the ball is hit in the sweet spot, the bat provides a strong "POP". I feel very comfortable using this bat for 18-24 games and it is comparable to Marucchi or any other bat supplier.
Cons: A procup option would be nice.
by Cardinals - Mar 19, 2012
Pros: This bat has a lot of pop my friend has one and once i used it once i was sold i had to get one. This is one of the best bats i have ever swung in my life.
Cons: Its to good its not fair
by Will - Apr 11, 2013
Pros: Bat looks sick. Feels great when swinging.
Cons: Broke the first day with 60 mph pitching. Wasnt even a handle shot. Just bats replaced it free of charge so hopefully the next one is more durable. Ive heard they are very durable and must have gotten a bad bat but fingers crossed none the less.
by MikeF - Mar 09, 2007
Pros: UNBELIEVABLE!!! I have not broke this bat in over 3 months, and its still going strong.
Cons: the pine tar does not stick very well to it.
by Dog - Oct 09, 2007
Pros: I purchased the Old Version of the MB-110 several years ago. This summer I hit 5 HR's with it in 60 at-bats including a 400ft Homerun after it cracked and I taped it up!
Cons:
by FRED E. - May 08, 2011
Pros: my son has had his bat for over six years, used it for high school and travel ball still hasn't broken, as a coach i recommend it to everbody it's a great bat. still use it for batting practice.
Cons: my son does not play anymore
by Bmoney - Mar 04, 2012
Pros: I use this bat for the first time and was amazed at the pop it has!! Im sold
Cons: I would like to see it offered in another color
by ddu - Mar 29, 2012
Pros: great bat tons of pop to it. feels very light. GET THIS, NOT MARUCCI OR DEMARINI OR ANY OTHER BAT JUST BRETT.
Cons: got this after my last one broke after 100,000 hits. bat shows dents after hits but keeps pop.
by hennegg - Mar 31, 2012
Pros: Great bat to go hit with , has a great feel when you swing it ,positive results when you connect with it .Hit one 420 something feet in a game the other nite !
Cons: None
by bat guru - May 15, 2012
Pros: This bat for a composite has very good pop (although not as much as a high end straight wood bat) i have used it as a BP bat for a year now and works great! but i would not use it in a game because it feels soft off the bat
Cons: does not have as much pop as higher end straight wood bats for similar prices feels soft and dents/warps after a while
by xcaliber - May 17, 2012
Pros: solid bat great finish weighted very good and of course THE PRICE! great job brett bros.
Cons: none
by Freddy - Jun 27, 2012
Pros: Great well balanced bat feels great when you make contact with the ball
Cons: None
by JeffRo - Aug 22, 2012
Pros: I play in a semi-pro league in New Mexico. and i have been using this bat for th elast 6 months, and i cannot say anything bad about this bat. I am hitting .825 over 17 games all with this bat. off the handle, off the tip doesnt matter where, this bat always seems to get out of the infield. Great bat.
Cons: not really a con...but too laquered for my taste...
by zots - Aug 26, 2012
Pros: Brett Bros. comes through! I purchased this bat (MB_110 32 ) from just bat and loved the bat. Unfortunately after using it in a couple of tournaments practices it developed a splinter of the grain on the barrel. I contacted Brett Bros. via email and received an email the next day requesting photos and my receipt. A day later I received a second email informing me they were sending out a new bat FREE OF CHARGE. The bat they sent me is the Wulfman model 110 as the other bat was out of stock. I was extremely pleased with Brett Bros. customer service and would highly recommend trying their bats. I will definitely purchase one again.
Cons: Only that it splintered but his may have been a fluke.
by skullmann - Sep 04, 2012
Pros: Good value bat
Cons: BBCOR marking is a sticker that can wear off.
by Rancor Prime - Sep 05, 2012
Pros: The bat is more of a 4 and a half star rating but I rounded up since its well-made and a great price. Very light and well balanced, excellent bat control. The ball will also carry surprisingly far when you hit it just right, it doesn’t explode off the bat but gets a lot of lift and “softly†goes deep. I highly recommend this bat for contact hitters who have/desire bat control.
Cons: I wouldn’t recommend this bat for pull power hitters or line drive hitters. While it is still an excellent bat, by design it doesn’t have a large heavy barrel. The ball also doesn’t explode off of the bat, it will go far but it travels “soft†not “hardâ€. My all Maple Max bat and Sam bats generate a lot more velocity on impact and youll be able to drive the ball better with a heavier barrel.
by Rich - Nov 10, 2012
Pros: Excellent feel and balance. Great finish.
Cons: None
by Steven - Mar 10, 2013
Pros: It doesn't crack and it has pop.
Cons: It didn't come the same color as this one in the picture.
by Swingman - May 04, 2013
Pros: This bat is amazing. When i bought the bat i was expecting it to have a heavy feel to it but it felt surprisingly light to swing. Another pro about the bat is its pop. I started off using the bat as a batting practice bat but the more i swung with it the more I liked it. It has better pop than my bbcor metal bat so i started using it in games and I've been doing well. And with this price its an amazing value.
Cons: Has no warranty.
by surfer2542 - Feb 20, 2007
Pros: Most durable wood on the market. I have used mine for over 6 months and it still performs very well.
Cons: absolutly nothing
by manny - Feb 24, 2007

by - Apr 24, 2007
Pros: this is one of the best wood bats on the market
Cons: the "pop"
by imachado10 - Sep 04, 2008
Pros: The bat lasts forever. I've had mine for 3 years and it still sent a ball 400 feet into the wind! And that's even with stress fractures in its handle. Brett bats are rediculous.
Cons: none
by ryan - Feb 01, 2009
Pros: great bat. the mix of the maple and bamboo makes it perfect
Cons: none. its too good
by andRobin - Apr 02, 2009
Pros: GREAT BAT! For anyone looking for a good priced wood bat that won't break this is what you want.
Cons: After many many rounds my bat developed a small fracture line in the barrel where the pieces of mapel were put together. But it still works fine
by AJ - Jun 18, 2009
Pros: Looks Great Well Made
Cons: None so far
by bwest1107 - Mar 09, 2010
Pros: Very sharp lookin bat, i have hit somewhere around 850 to 1000 balls with it so far and not a single problem, bat has good pop to it as long as you are catchin the sweet spot
Cons: cant find any yet
by Puckster - May 13, 2010
Pros: Fantastic Bat, great price. Everybody on the team wants to use it though!
Cons: None
by sunshine - Jun 21, 2010
Pros: Nice pop, good balance. Solid, it didn't break and it was hit off the end a couple of times. Good practice bat.
Cons: Barrel is a little too narrow if you use it in a wood bat tourney. Suggest a 271 or 243 cut. And get plenty of practice beforehand bucause the swing weight will be more toward the end of the bat than aluminun. Maple covering showed wear after 3 days of use.
by Anonymous - Aug 06, 2010
Pros: It has good pop, and it feels great when you hit it on the sweet spot.Didn't break even after hitting many off the end.
Cons: The grip can be a little slippery if you're sweating. The wood has shown slight dimpling from hitting the seams, but it's not very prominent.
by bull34 - Aug 16, 2010
Pros: Great feel. Love the sound of hitting with wood. Gaining more pop in my swing with every practice.
Cons:
by Lord of the Purple Dragon - Sep 19, 2010
Pros: Was able to hit good right away didn't take any getting used since its the same size as my aluminum bat.
Cons: None.
by - Oct 07, 2010
Pros: Wow! Perfect balance - not just weight, but the balance of the woods is amazing! Nice whip & stregnth of bamboo and great feel of maple off the bat.
Cons: It's too darn pretty!
by Saltydog - Oct 16, 2010
Pros: This is an excellent bat. Durable, quality construction. Nice balance; slightly end weighted but not enough to slow it up. Full season under it's belt and still hitting strong.
Cons: Only bought one!
by - Oct 29, 2010
Pros: I love the bat. It's built like a tank
Cons: NONE
by jdmorris - Feb 09, 2011
Pros: Nice finish, great feel and balance. My 14yr. old son uses it for batting practice and the wood bat gives him much more feedback than an alumn. bat

by TheBeast - Mar 14, 2012
Pros: love this bat. it looks good and has a nice grip. its a very solid bat and the ball jumps off this bat. its a little end loaded but perfect for bp/slow pitchers. i have had it for a day and have already hit over 250 balls with it.

Cons: none
by TaylorS - Apr 14, 2012
Pros: Great balance, a lot of pop. Extremely durable, I've taken several shots of the handle with no breaks. Best bat for your money, and has a great feel to it.
Cons: None!
by Slugger - Apr 17, 2012
Pros: Great bat!!! some reviews are right about how it dents easily and how the paint slighty chipps but its a bat after you hit you'll throw it onto the ground how can you not expect their to be some type of damage to the bad but it doesn't affect the performance of the bat what so ever. Everyone on my team is using it. ITS AWESOME!!! Best 60 bucks i've spent my whole life great balance nice grip and sweet pop this bat is a must
Cons: nothing really
by tradosaurus - Apr 27, 2012
Pros: I bought this bat for my 13 yr old son to swing in league play to improve his hitting in major tournament travel ball. I personally believe he hits the ball farther than his Rawlings Plasma metal bat. It has a great sound and after 2 months is still going strong. I'm going to buy another one.
Cons: Having a red tint to the barrel of the bat shows nicks but it's not a big deal.
by wally25 - May 13, 2012
Pros: this is a very durable bat with great pop.....wont break ever!!!....i was alittle bit nervous about the pop since all everybody talked about was its durability but wrong it has POP!!!!!
Cons: came with a couple minor dents and scratches but only seen if u look close
by Joe - May 18, 2012
Pros: I've had this Brett Brothers bat for 3 20+ game seasons and I'm still using it. I use it for BP, cage, soft toss, & games so it gets it's swings in. The weight is nicely distributed and the larger handle knob adds good control of your hands while swinging. These bats also have great pop and the fiberglass wrapped handle make them extremely strong. Another guy on the team has one too & never had a problem with his either.
Cons: As I've noticed in the couple different bamboo bats I've used, Bamboo stings your hands if to hit the ball off the handle or the very end of the bat. It help counter this, I bought cushioned tennis racket tape and while it helps a lot, it doesn't stop it all. Still worth it for such a GREAT bat at a GREAT price. I do wish it was cupped, but Brett does sell one like it that is cupped.
by Baeball Legend - May 21, 2012
Pros: Great bat, cool looks, great pop, great in all weather conditions. me and my 19 year old son had a baseball game in the dead of winter. WHILE IT WAS SNOWING! I recomand this bat to anyone who is a pro.
Cons: Needs more color

Pros: Durable, solid, great pop, great feel. Nothing is better.
Cons: A bit heavy/ top heavy. But thats it!
by DJ1210 - Jun 01, 2012
Pros: Excellent balance, perfect pop, and the finest durability you are going to find in a wood bat. Recommended to all types of player. Has a sweet barrel and a knob that is great for bat control and base hits.

Cons: Nothing at all
by Morgan - Jun 21, 2012
Pros: Best wood bat I have every used. Great pop. This is the only brand I prefer to use in wood. I hit very hard from the big part of the barrell and end; it hasn't broken yet. I have tried several other wood brands but it seems Brett Bros has the best bats.
Cons: Can't find anything wrong with this bat.
by Hornets2015 - Jun 25, 2012
Pros: Great bat with tons of pop. Seems very durable. My kid has used in about 15 games with no issues. He is hitting the ball hard with this thing. Very well balanced.

Cons: I'm hitting the ball so hard the stitches are being indented on the bat!
by tommy boy - Jul 03, 2012
Pros: bat is very very durable! i have only had it for two weeks and have it about 100 pitches and have taken 10 of the handle and 4 off the end at 85mph and did not break.
Cons: stings hands and has a slippery handle but put bat tape on it and it will take it a good amount of the sting away.

Pros: Solid, durable, great finish, has good pop for a wood bat. My son is in high school baseball and has used this bat in batting practices and training. After 5 weeks of hitting the bat literally still looks new. He had Tommy John surgery and is starting his comeback and anxious to start using it again! I will definitely be looking at a second one later this year. For the price I don't think you could get a better bat! If you are looking, this one is a definite buy!
Cons: None

by @C_Rook - Oct 02, 2012
Pros: For a wood bat, this is an amazing bat. I have been swinging this bat since apirl and nothing has changed. You can really feel the ball fly off the barrel. I have swong MANY bats in my lifetime and own over 10 wood bats right now, and this is in my top 3
Cons: if you dont like thick handels, this is a little thicker than others.

Pros: Great bat, my son loves it. On a cold rainy day he doubled twice to deep right field in it's first game use. Also, has hit a few off the handle in practice that I know would have broke a regular wood bat.
Cons: None. I wish I had known about this bat before I shoveled out $300 for a Marucci.

by Stinger - Feb 23, 2013
Pros: Good pop.
Cons: Needs to come with rubber grips to avoid serious stinging to batters hands.
by J-Lo - Mar 03, 2013
Pros: Great looking bat, less sting than my ash bat, and feels like a little bigger sweet spot, swings very smooth.
Cons: none
by Tony - Mar 03, 2013
Pros: Great feel. Big sweet spot. Love the pop of the maple. Looks good too. I would use it in games over most BBCOR. Have yet to use it in a game, but hit a HR with it in our intrersquad scrimmage.
Cons: Hit one off the end of the bad and it has a dent in it. Doesn't affect the performance, just soft maple. Handle is a little thin, for me because I don't wear gloves, but nothing that some tape and pine tar shouldn't fix.
by Anonymous - Mar 06, 2013
Pros: I love this bat i just got it and I had batting practice today and oh my goodness it was great I'm surprised its only $60 I was skeptic then I read reviews and said what the hey I don't regret it

Pros: Great bat. Little end heavy, but other than that, just a solid stick. Had to get it for a fall wood bat tournament and being the first time ive swung a wood bat, AMAZING.
Cons: Little end heavy. It cracked a bit on the handle and on the end of the bat.
by Javier - Mar 10, 2013
Pros: Really great bat. Has an amazing pop. If you connect very well you will hit bombs. I'm talking about Barry Bonds bombs. Beautiful look too. A+ bat. As a 16 year old baseball player I could say this has been one of my favorite bats. Outstanding.
Cons: If you take wild swings the bat will start getting weak. If you are a wild swinger this bat is not for you. Don't swing at wild pitches and you won't have any cons.
by Chaunce - Mar 11, 2013
Pros: Love the feel and durability. The knob on the end is very large, but I grew to love it. The bat felt like a dream. It felt like the entire thing was a sweet spot. I used it for practice and for almost an entire season of an adult baseball league. Overall, very durable.
Cons: The only problem is that it eventually broke. I can't be too upset. I feel like I got my moneys worth. Another teammate was using it against a pitcher throwing mid 80s and he hit one off the handle that simply cracked the bat, it didn't even completely break!
by Dan - Mar 12, 2013
Pros: Great quality bat has helped my batting.
Cons:
by BaseballJosh - Mar 20, 2013
Pros: Had it for two weeks and it cracked right where the "brett" logo is. Called up Just bats and within ten minutes they sent me a new one completely free. Has amazing pop for a wood bat.

by Jaceroni - Apr 05, 2013
Pros: Crazy pop! Feels great all around during/after swing, and seems like it should last some time.
Cons: Knob is a bit large, but it's all good in the hood.
by the bat guy - Apr 05, 2013
Pros: This wood bat is high made for best. Recommended for all good baseball players.
Cons: This is a good bat but durability is low. I have watched kids hit in the batting cage and on the field and this bat is stinging players and breaking in half. But if you can master a good bat like this, get ready for a great season, or day.
by Mini Klaush - Apr 07, 2013
Pros: Good looking bat
Cons: Broken on first handle shot. Would not recommend this bat at all!
by Anonymous - Apr 07, 2013
Pros: Good looking bat. My son said it feels good and seems to have good pop.
Cons: Varnish is chipping off badly. Looks like he was hitting rocks or something small, many chips in bat.
by Beautiful, well made bat. - Apr 11, 2013

Cons: Know is much larger than most bats, and the handle is thicker than I had anticipated.

Pros: Good weight and sturdy. Definitely recommended.
Cons: Slippery handle. Nothing a little tape or pine tar cannot fix.

by SteveC - Apr 19, 2013
Pros: Bought this bat for my 14 year old son. He has used this bat alot ahd says this bat in his words "AWESOME". All of his teammates wants to know where he got it and the price. When he tells them the price, they all said he was lying. We told them to go to JustBats and find out themselves, now they are all believers. Great Bat.
Cons: Haven't seen any yet!! Bat is still going strong!
by Nick is my name - Apr 19, 2013
Pros: Great pop, just as good as any other BBCOR bat. I like the feel, and comfortable to swing.

by Eric - May 01, 2013

Cons: Small sweet spot,
by Anonymous - May 03, 2013
Pros: Great pop. Better then our aluminum rawlings plasma bbcor. Coach and I hit with the kids yesterday and were hitting line drives to the fence and homeruns all day long. Wish i had this bat in college
Cons: None
by KWeb - May 06, 2013
Pros: Doesn't hurt your hands - even when hit off the end. Good pop on the sweet spot.
Cons: A little slick without gloves or tape.
by Bill C - May 08, 2013
Pros: Awesome bat! I purchased 2 of these bats for my twins, who are playing in a 14U league. They've been swinging the bat hard and hitting the ball as far as any of the other kids who are using BBCOR aluminum bats. Lots of pop, great finish, and highly durable. This bat also has a great appearance and looks better than a lot of $100+ bats.
Cons: Haven't found any cons yet. We're just about finished with the season and the bats have performed well all year.
by Bman - May 08, 2013
Pros: This bat was solid for my first wood bat. Great pop and light swingweight. The titanium bracelet was pretty fresh too
Cons: Kind of a small barrel

Cons:
by YUNGANG - May 15, 2013
Pros: It's great. It has nice pop and is durable. Also is really light. I have the 33" bat and I usually use a 31", but I can't tell a difference.
Cons: Knob. I don't like the knob but for 60 bucks I can't complain.

by Jim - Jun 17, 2013
Pros: Bat has good balance and feel.
Cons: Bat started to delaminate after 2 weeks of play.
by jack - Jun 17, 2013
Pros: Used this bat in my wood bat league, hit .405 with 14 jacks in 48 games. It reinvented my swing. The barrel looks small but it has a large sweat spot. has a feeling like you didn't hit anything it just goes. Great bat already ordered two more for the season. Out performs metal BBCOR bats.
Cons: Pine tar comes off overtime...who cares.
by RArmstrong - Jun 18, 2013
Pros: Was caught reaching on a change up made solid contact and still hit a 365' double. Hit 5 singles off the handle that still got out of the infield have only had it for 6 games.
Cons: I bought the 32 and not the 33.5... I just ordered it
by - Oct 10, 2007
Pros: VERY STRONG BAT WORTH THE MONEY.
Cons: COULD NOT FEEL THE POP.
by K TOWN - Jun 26, 2008
Pros: This bat DOES NOT BREAK!!! No matter what you do to it it will not break. It also hits very far.
Cons: NONE
by Coach R - May 07, 2009
Pros: We bought this bat for a 13 year old team to take batting practice on cold days (to protect our game bats). The coaches also use it heavily to hit infield and outfield. After a few thousand swings by kids not used to wood bats, it is as solid as day one. After looking at how the bamboo core is made, I can't imagine it breaking. Our kids appreciate that it came in a 31 inch version.
Cons: Very slick handle. A couple of our kids would love to see a flared knob/cupped end model.
by georgiabatter - Jul 20, 2010
Pros: I'm 5'8" and got the 31". The bat feels thick and hefty but has nice balance and feel. I can really feel the ball 'deflate' when it connects on the sweet spot, and it definitely lets you know when you hit one off the tip; shocks my hands, but still drives the ball well.
Cons: Grip is a little slippery when I'm sweating.
by Sergy - May 23, 2012
Pros: GREAT BAT, Looks nice and glossy and energy towel actually works sort of like a high. Has crazy pop!
Cons: Bat came with a horribly deep dent in it but not going to bother sending it back since there are no more size 33" left in stock, and the bat does dent pretty easy, the knob also makes it kinda hard to swing at full speed but nothing a little tape or my pro-hitter cant fix!
by Anonymous - Jun 25, 2012
Pros: Solid contact when you hit with the barrel.
Cons: After I hit the ball it leaves a dent in the bat
by Bonk - Aug 03, 2012

Cons: Hurts like heck if you hit off the end or on the hands.
by k doG - Aug 06, 2012
Pros: Great bat. Perfect bat for batting cages. Good pop and seems very durable. looks amazing
Cons: Do not expect to use this bat in games. Not only is the barrel a 2 1/2 in diameter, the length of the barrel is only about 5 inches
by Austin - Mar 21, 2013
Pros: Looks nice. Balanced.
Cons: This bat is terrible. I bought this bat at the start of January for practice and BP. I estimate that I used this bat, at a maximum, 12 PRACTICES BEFORE IT BROKE!

1. The Maple Bamboo is made up of a bamboo core (20 pieces) the runs from the handle all the way thru the barrel of the bat, and it has maple laminated onto the bamboo. So yes it is considered a wood composite. 2. The Maple Bamboo was BESR certified and has received BBCOR certification also. 3. The Maple Bamboo can be used by any high school and meets all of the requirements.
