Review Summary

The DXVCR features the USSSA 1.15 stamp and is legal for use in 2012! When you think of the best quality baseball bats on the market today, only one word comes to mind; DeMarini. Year after year DeMarini produces some of the best baseball bats available, and that holds true once again this year. One of the crown jewels in the DeMarini line for the past several years has been the Vendetta. This year's Vendetta C6 is going to pick up right where its ancestors left off. The Vendetta C6 -10 senior league baseball bat is produced with the same Rails Hybrid Handle Technology as previous Vendettas, but with a C6 Composite Barrel as well. DeMarini found a way to reduce vibration zones all the while increasing the sweet spot and producing ultimate bat speed. The Rails Hybrid Handle Technology with flexible inner core and a reinforced outer frame help deliver optimal bat speed and feel. The flexible handle interior reduces vibration zones. Players experience total confidence when stepping up to the plate. The Half & Half system redistributes weight for optimal balance, allowing players to swing faster with less effort. Half & Half means more power. The C6 Power Weave of all carbon is specially designed with a wider weave and powerful singlewall barrel. The double reinforced vertical and horizontal weave is what provides the more responsive composite design you have been looking for. The improved end cap also helps dampen the vibration, producing a better feel and easier swing. The DeMarini Variegated grip gives you the most comfortable feel, allowing you to have the most control possible over the bat. Also an added feature is their Rotation Index which allows you to evenly break-in your bat by rotating the bat a quarter of a rotation each plate appearance. DeMarini: Join the Uprising! Pros: Great bat nice pop. the sound of the ball off the bat is really nice. the new rail's are better than the 2010.
Cons: not yet!
Pros: The bat is light weight easy to swing, and it has a really big barrel so there is more room to hit the ball. Also the barrel over the handle helps because it gives you more room not to hurt yourself when you get jammed.
Cons:
Pros: Great bat. Extreme pop. Feel bad for ball.
Cons: Hurts when hit on rails.
Pros: My son loves this bat; he is 10 but very tall and it fits perfect. Great pop.
Cons: After a single one day batting camp (no machines, human pitch) - the BPF 1.15 stamp (required for play in 2012) is 3/4 gone, just wiped off? In other words - I have no idea if we'll be able to use it when season starts. Warranty does not say it covers paint. Need to call the company next week and see whats up. HASSLE. Seems dumb to give 3 stars because of that but - that was one of main reasons we bought this bat as opposed to something else - it has (had?) a required 2012 stamp.
Pros: very large sweetspot and i love the sound it makes when you hit the ball.very light but amazing pop.
Cons:
Pros: light easy to swing has a nice pop overall I give it a A for a grade
Cons: hurts when ball hits rails
Pros: Just got this bat today really light, huge sweet spot, and intimidating design
Cons: why would there be any?
Pros: Follow-up on previous post. Demarini admits USSSA logo is painted and will smear. They will laser engrave stamp when sent back to them
Cons:
Pros: Feels awsome.Feels light when you swing it. Good grip
Cons: none yet
Pros:
Cons: We ordered the bat as an xmas present. During the first use, a ball hit the USSSA logo. It smeared off because the logo was painted on the barrel of the bat! Demarini added the label after the bats were sealed so they are just painted on. I am having an argument with Demarini about replacing. DON'T BUY THIS BAT IF YOU NEED THE USSSA LOGO.. it will come off and then you won't be able to use it. This is a problem the company is aware of but puts the bat out anyway knowing that it will smear. Turned me off to Demarini. I see there are other comments out here saying the same thing!
Pros: Awesome bat amazing great pop out of the wrapper .when u hit the ball it feels like ur not hitting the ball but launching it .balanced feel and to me doesn't even feel like a -10 feels light .amazing grip too .what can I say it's just demarini at its best as always . I highly recemend overall best bat I've ever used. Go DEMARINI !!! Ps came a day early
Cons: None why would there be any
Pros: the best. the sound that the bat produces is music to the ears. The bat has a massive sweet spot... just like all demarinies. they are the best!
Cons: absolutely none
Pros: 11 year old loves grip, look and lightness of the swing on 30/20. No sting either.
Cons: As with previous posts, USSSA Stamp smeared off on FIRST DAY OF USE. Will report back on how Demarini handles issue.
Pros: Can't get past stamp issue to figure out
Cons: 1.15 bpf stamp is not etched and it smeared after 1st batting practice. Sent back to DeMarini to be rest amped and that stamp is flaking off! Beware!
Pros: Great pop rails are better then ever your gonna love how you hit when you get this bat and ever at a fairprice. Lighter means easier to swing a full swing
Cons:
Pros: Awesome pop and nice balance.
Cons: Bat should be turned after each hit to limit denting.
Pros: the vendetta has great pop. The most out of all the vendetta bats ive used. The sweet spot is nice and big also. the rails are cool.
Cons: when hit on the rail has a small sting. otherwise a great bat
Pros: Ok bat decent pop if hit right not demarinis super bat but an ok buy
Cons: USSSA stamp comes off easy
Pros: Purchased my first Demarini product which was the Demarini Vendetta 31/21. the Bat has a lot of POP & sounds great. Good bye Louisville slugger Hello Demarini
Cons: Everybody wants to use it
Pros: this bat has amazing pop and almost no sting. i have only hit in the cage but have had some home run balls.
Cons: usssa mark rubs off so we put a tire patch on it and that works. the price is going up.
Pros: very large sweetspot with very great bat speed. It feels 5 ounces lighter than it says. Nice hand grip and rails. Feels like you are hitting air.
Cons: does sting a smidge when hit on rails and paint comes off easily other than that this is the perfect bat
Pros: So far so good. Solid production, no dents and makes great contact.
Cons:
Pros: great bat good price
Cons: usssa painted may smear
Pros: my son say's "light weight, easy to swing throught the ball" I say" great price , quick shipping " thanks Just bat's
Cons:
Pros: My 12 year old son LOVES this bat. We got it to replace an older version that got too short. His hitting is just amazing with this one! VERY happy with our purchase. Watch out Bronco Division!
Cons: None so far!
Pros: feels lighter then 20oz and has great pop.
Cons: usssa stamp smeared after first time hitting with it. Can't even make it out on what the stamp says
Pros: My son plays 10 yr old Pony and after watching him hit two homers each clearing the 200 ft fence, rolling and bouncing off the 320 ft fence this weekend, I would say this bat has to be the best value of any bat on the market.
Cons:
Pros: bought it for my son for his pony league and he is love in it so far every one want to use it because every time he hits the ball far away
Cons: dont have known
Pros: Great bat but the USSSA stamp has come off after only two batting practices (very common and they are aware of the defect). Demarini will etch the bat, but you need to cover the cost for shipping their defective bat to them to correct the problem.
Cons:
Pros: awsome bat first home run more to come
Cons:
Pros: Great feel and balance with a giant sweet spot. Rails system really takes the sting out of "off" hits, especially during early season cooler weather games.
Cons: None that I have found.
Pros: Good bat.
Cons: THE USSSA STICKER COMES OFF AND YOU HAVE TO PAY TO SHIP THE BAT BACK FOR THE STICKER. Do not buy if you need the sticker.
Pros: this bat is great!! It has excellent pop and is easy to hit with. I would suggest to get this bat if you are a big 3,4,5 hitter.
Cons: the usssa stamp is on the barrel and will smudge if you hit it.
Pros: good pop
Cons: The USSSA stamp rubs off from normal use. Which makes the bat useless
Pros: great pop and the rails are much better than the 2010 Vendetta.
Cons: This bat is very low quality. I used it in babe ruth and my first hit with the bat the paint started to chip. the second hit with this bat it snapped. i do not reccomend this bat to anybody in high leagues with faster pitchers.
Pros: great pop!!! the grip is amazing!!
Cons: none at all.
Pros: This bat is very good. I would suggest this bat to anyone. I almost hit 2 homeruns last weekend with it
Cons:
Pros: Love the rails. Swings super light with great pop. Don't notice a huge difference between this bat and a 2 3/4 barrel bat. I put 5 or 6 coats of clear nail polish over the stamp right out of the box and the stamp has held up great. Be careful with first coat of nail polish or it could smear the stamp, once its dry it works great for the additional coats...
Cons:
Pros: Light swing weight good pop USSSA stamp
Cons: None yet
Pros: I love this bat. Easy to break in. Rails are cool.
Cons: This bat would be sold more if it cost less
Pros: Nice Balance, and pop. No complaints about the construction or performance of the bat itself.
Cons: As others have stated: The USSSA stamp comes off easily!!! After 3 practices, the stamp was completely gone! My son got this bat as part of a Bat Pack. Going to send it back to DeMarini to get it fixed or demand a replacement. Will post again.
Pros: Good feel and pop.
Cons: The USSSA stamp is smearing off very easy.
Pros: Ball explodes off the bat.
Cons:
Pros: The barrel travels a long way down the bat increasing the sweet spot
Cons: The bat hits as if it's "dead". Break in followed carefully but does not compare to the alloy bats
Pros: Light weight, nice pop, just what I needed. And it even got to my house a day early.
Cons: Too bad, none yet
Pros: best bat in history of history
Cons: none
Pros: Probably a good bat if it wasn't damaged?
Cons: From the very first use, the bat has been stinging my son's hands. I assume it is defective since no one else has complained as far as I know
Pros: Updating my last post. I called DeMarini about the USSSA stamp rubbing off. They said it was their fault and have been re-stamping bats. I had to pay the postage to send it to DeMarini and got it back re-stamped in 8 days. Hopefully the process they used this time will work. At least now I have paperwork supporting that this bat IS USSSA compliant should I have to show it to a tournament official or ump.
Cons:
Pros: a friend told me about justbat.com,so i went to the website & read the reviews on the DeMarini Vendetta C6:DXVCR. the reviews were impressive. so i bought the bat for my 11 year old son. first time i have ordered a bat on line, & recieved it in 2 days. right out of the box I PUT A clear piece of tape over the USSSA logo that everyone was complaning about rubbing off. my son had try outs this past weekend & 3 out of 6 balls that were pitched to him went over the fence (home runs)& another being a fast hard line drive. he has never hit a home run before not even in a game. his confidence level has risin 100%.the coaches were looking at the bat and even taking pitchures of it. he is now know as the boy that hit three home runs during try outs. thank you DeMarini, I highly recomend this bat.I will keep everyone posted during the season @ threw allstars. by the way, the bat we chose was 31" 21 oz.
Cons:
Pros: Awesome pop, great balance.
Cons: None
Pros: cool looking bat...
Cons: my stamp is already gone after two practices im not happy with this bat.....
Pros: Great bat lots of pop it is just amazing how slim and how fast it swing
Cons: None at all

Is this a Big Barrel? And is it allowed in 13-15 play?
Asked by Ryan on Mar 21, 2012
Yes, the DeMarini Vendetta C6 is a Senior League bat with a 2 5/8" barrel that is considered "big barrel." If you are referring to the 13-15 year old division in Babe Ruth, then no, this bat is not legal. In the 13-15 year old division in Babe Ruth, bats with composite barrels must be Adult -3 BBCOR bats. This Vendetta C6 is not an Adult -3 BBCOR bat.

Hello, I bought this bat for my 10 year old son and he was using it in the batting cage and hit a ball where the BPF 1.15 mark was and now is no longer able to see it. It was thrown out of the game because of it. What if anything can be done? Putting it on the barrel was a bad place to put it. Any suggestions?

How does the DeMerini Vendetta compare to the DeMarini Versus?
Asked by Meiko#52 on Mar 06, 2012
The DeMarini Vendetta C6 is a two-piece full composite bat and the DeMarini Versus is a two-piece full alloy bat. The Vendetta will require a 150-200 swing break-in and it will perform better over time. The Versus will not have a break in period and will be hot right out of the wrapper.

If the CF4 and Vendetta are both rated at 1.15, what would make the CF4 a better bat? Doesn't the 1.15 reflect a scale that both bats are 15% stronger than wood?

I purchased this bat for my son. Can or should it be used in batting cages?
Asked by J on Jan 16, 2012
No, the DeMarini Vendetta C6 should not be used in batting cages that use yellow dimpled balls. They are very dense and can damage the composite materials. We recommend having a bat specifically for cage use and to save your Vendetta for games.

I noticed the 2012 Vendetta does not have the Rails. Why is this? Was there a problem with the rails where people did not like to use the bat?
Asked by Mark on Dec 23, 2011
The DeMarini Vendetta C6 does have the Internal Rails Hybrid Handle that reduces vibration for an easy swing.

How does this bat compare with the Easton Rival 2 3/4 in terms of pop?
Asked by yalemotu on Dec 19, 2011
Both the DeMarini Vendetta C6 and the Easton Rival have alloy barrels so they both have nice pop. The main differences between the two is the different barrel sizes and the Rivals one-piece alloy design versus the Vendetta's two-piece composite design.
Linda Expert · Dec 19, 2011
Do the rails do anything? Why is it that only the vendetta has them?
Asked by questionman on Dec 18, 2011
The Internal Rails Hybrid Handle system in the DeMarini Vendetta C6 is a vibration reduction technology unique to DeMarini. The inner rails maintain stiffness and provide stability to the much softer outer wall which reduces vibration for an easy swing.

How does the performance compare with the 2012 Vexxum? Why the price difference?
Asked by questionman on Dec 17, 2011
The DeMarini Vendetta C6 and DeMarini Vexxum are difficult to compare. The Vendetta is a two-piece composite and the Vexxum is a two-piece hybrid with a composite handle and alloy barrel. The difference in price is based on the Vexxum being a newer model bat.

Which will have more pop: 2011 vendetta -10 or the 2012 voodoo -9? What are the differences in the bats? Which do you recommend 10yr old travel league?
Asked by Darrell on Dec 14, 2011
The DeMarini Vendetta C6 and DeMarini Vexxum are both durable bats with a lot of pop. The biggest difference between the two is that the Vendetta has a composite barrel and the Vexxum has an alloy barrel. The Vendetta will need 150-200 swing break-in and the Vexxum will be game ready the day you buy it. At the age of 10 the most common length is 29"-30".

Asked by matt on Dec 04, 2011
Based on customer feedback and information provided by DeMarini, the CF4 (now CF5) is DeMarini's top of the line bat. The DeMarini Vendetta C6 is a great bat, but not the same quality as the CF4 or CF5.

What's the deal with the Rotation Index...and what is the break in period? Does this need to be done for the life of the bat?
Asked by Bert on Dec 01, 2011
We recommend breaking in your DeMarini Vendetta C6 with 150-200 hits off a tee or soft toss. DeMarini bats come with a numbered rotation index, rotate the bat one number after each swing, doing this will spread the hit load around the circumference of the barrel, significantly increasing the bat's lifespan.

Hi I was wondering... I'm a power hitter my league allows this bat and the DeMarini Voodoo 2012 which would you prefer im 5'6 and 145 pounds. Thanks.
Asked by Cf4 dude on Dec 01, 2011
Both the DeMarini Vendetta C6 and DeMarini Voodoo would be very good bat options for you. The biggest difference between the two is that the Vendetta has a composite barrel and the Voodoo has an alloy barrel, so it'll come down to your personal preference.

What is the difference between an aluminum and composite bat? Which is "better?"
Asked by Jeff on Nov 28, 2011
Composite bats are made from a mixture of carbon fibers and resins. Aluminum bats, also known as alloy, are made from a combination of two or more aluminums. Aluminum bats are at their peak performance when they are new and have a reputation for being durable. Composite bats require a 150-200 swing break-in period before they are game ready and continue to improve their performance as they age.

Asked by club dad on Nov 28, 2011

Why should we stay away from the yellow dimpled balls?
Asked by bigdog on Nov 09, 2011
The yellow dimpled balls that you see at most batting cages are very dense and can damage your DeMarini Vendetta C6. We recommend hitting only real baseballs.

How cold can this bat be used in?
Asked by Mini Mike Napoli. on Nov 06, 2011
We recommend limiting the use of your DeMarini Vendetta C6 in temperatures below 55 degrees. Baseballs become very dense in cold weather and can damage your Vendetta and affect its performance.

How long does the -13 DeMarini Vendetta C6 take to break in?
Asked by ethan on Oct 11, 2011
We recommend taking 150-200 swings off a tee or soft toss, rotating the bat a 1/4" turn after each swing for even barrel coverage. Be sure to hit real baseballs and not dimpled cage balls as they are very dense and can damage your bat.
