Pros: Beautiful bat. Arrived in perfect condition (not always the case when you order online). I was a little concerned as Easton - unlike in years past when it gave us the specific MOI of its bats - does not tell us the specific MOI of this bat. However I can assure you it has a low MOI, lower than the Omen in my opinion, making for great swing speed and pop.
Cons: The round rubber label with the letter "E" on the end-cap (you can see it in the pictures above) popped off the first day my son used it. We are exchanging for a new bat.
Review Summary
based on 53 ratings. 53 user reviews.
New for 2012! Easton truly believes that every player should have the opportunity to hit for power. However, the road to power hitting is different for every player. Some players need extra bat speed to reach their full power potential, while others need more weight and a bigger barrel. That's why Easton is changing the game this season and taking an approach to bats that no other manufacturer has ever tried before. Introducing the POWER Brigade; Two series, one distinct result. Whether you prefer the fast swinging Speed Series or the heavier extended barrel XL Series, POWER will be your outcome. Forget flashy designs and gimmicky names, these bats produce RESULTS. The Speed Series (S1, S2, S3) features the lowest Moment of Inertia (M.O.I.) on the market to create light swing weights and generate more power. On the other side of the spectrum, the XL Series (XL1, XL2, XL3) features extra long barrels designed to give players expanded hitting zones and more mass in the barrel, generating more power in every swing. Easton really does strive to fulfill the preferences of any type of player as both series come in two-piece IMX Composite designs (S1 and XL1), two-piece IMX Composite/THT100 Aluminum hybrid designs (S2 and XL2), and one-piece THT100 Aluminum designs (S3 and XL3). As for the materials, Easton's patented IMX Composite has proven to be one of the highest performing materials in the game year after year, while THT100 Aluminum provides superior dent and crack resistance. Throw in an array of additional world-class Easton technology and you have a new line of bats that is second to none. Easton: We Believe In Power! This bat is approved for play in all major youth associations. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: very good bat. love it. very light.
Cons: like 'JOn' the yellow 'e' cap came flying off the first couple of swings. for the price easton should make sure things dont come flying off.
by Jon - Jan 27, 2012
Pros: This is Jon again. I posted above that the bat is great but the round, black, end-cap label with a yellow "E" came off the bat the first day. Well, I got a replacement bat and the same thing happened to the second bat: the round, black, end-cap label with a yellow "E" came off the bat the first few days. I tried gluing it on, and it came off anyway after a week or so. I can't believe Easton would put such poor design into a $250 bat. $250 and labels come flying off the bat? Wow. Maybe I’ll try made-in-America DeMarini next.
Cons: See above.
by Thomas M - Sep 29, 2011
Pros: This bat is awesome! It feels very light weight, has tons of pop and I think it is better then the cf5, b4, and b3gear retro. IT IS THE BEST BAT!!!!
Cons: NOTHING.
by Rose4HOF - Apr 09, 2012
Pros: This bat is amazing and worth every penny. I have purchased my share of high end bats and rarely feel this way. The bat is perfectly balanced and great for any size youth large or small. Its loaded with amazing pop and power. The balls leaves the huge sweet spot like a rocket. The bats looks awesome and demands attention. Want to hit rockets that make infielders duck? How about a few shots over the fence? This is the bat!
Cons: Like a couple reviewers noted, the "E" sticker on the end of the barrel came off when hitting a monster home run. Ummmmm....its a tiny little sticker the size of a dime....who cares??
by the man - Apr 04, 2012
Pros: great bat hit 2 homers in first practice and liners off of the walll................worth every penny!!!!
Cons: none
by Ivey - Apr 14, 2012
Pros: Nice bat and it swings light! Does not sting too much. Great for contact hitters! Would make a great bat for younger kids 11 and under. My son had the 31/18.
Cons: With the bat being light it does not have a lot of pop, but it is not designed for power hitters anyway. Ping is very loud when hit on the sweet spot but it's only an issue when taking BP indoors.
by NC Heat - Apr 22, 2012
Pros: Good pop. Son hit his first Bomb in second game he used bat. Along with several doubles. So far So good
Cons:
by The Man (Bau5 hitter) - Apr 23, 2012
Pros: This bat is great right out of the wrapper. I just got it today and i have been hitting off the tee for about three hours breaking this monster in and i loved it. great pop. nice weight (31/19). overall great bat. pick one up
Cons: Everyone is complaining about the rubber piece falling off. cmon really
by twinkle toes - Apr 24, 2012
Pros: great bat, tremendous pop for a light bat. better compared to the omen.
Cons: the end cap broke off but that's no big deal. also it paint chips easily but that's no big deal too.
by cj - May 03, 2012
Pros: great pop i just got it today and i hit a triple, double and a single i love it!!!!!
Cons: none great bat
by J Tip - May 05, 2012
Pros: Awesome bat! It looks good and sounds solid when my son hits with it. Great pop as well. He just got the bat yesterday. He had his first at bat with it tonight, he hit a two run homerun to right-center field. We ordered this bat since he cracked his 2011 Nike Aero CX2 in the cage on Monday. So far, he says he likes this bat better.
Cons: None so far. As for all of the other people complaining about the E coming off...His is still intact after the break-in process and one game with a shot over the fence.
by Southside - May 09, 2012
Pros: Bought this bat for my boys last weekend. We took some BP to break it in before they used it for this weeks games. I even hit a few balls with it and wished I had this bat when I was a kid. My 8 yr old went 3 for 3 with two doubles and my 10 yr old went 3 for 4 with a double, a triple, and a HR. All three hit were bombs! This bat has extremely good pop. Half the team wanted to use it.
Cons: A little pricy for little league but can't put a price on the results!
by mike24 - May 11, 2012
Pros: just got this bat 4 weeks ago. It is great so much pop and so light. I have hit 2 home runs with it so far.
Cons: none, just hope the league dosent make this one illegal
by shooter - May 15, 2012
Pros: great bat
Cons: im already hitting twice as far
by The Beast - May 15, 2012
Pros: This bat is awesome my friend and i hit about 15 homeruns together. AMAZING BAT!
Cons: There is little bumps in the barrel and the paint is chipping.
by Ike - May 16, 2012
Pros: This thing is the bomb! So much so I hit 3 HR bombs with it! I am 12 and am hitting .700 ever since I have got this bat. Really great pop, hardly any sting, and super balanced.
Cons: Like others have said the "E" sticker on the top came off with first use so I just stuck it on my helmet (It's stayed on all season)... no biggy.
by jakson - Apr 07, 2012
Pros: it is one of the best bats and it has a lot of pop....... get it
Cons: none
by homer hitter - Apr 18, 2012
Pros: awesome bat looks good feels good great pop very light
Cons: yellow cap fell but who cares hits the same but make sure to break it in right
by J Tip - May 07, 2012
Pros: J Tip again with an update. Two games with this bat..one homerun, one single and two triples. My son has gone 4 for 5 in two games with this bat. He says he still likes it.
Cons: None, E still intact!
by notaneastonfan - May 09, 2012
Pros: Not much of an Easton fan, and I keep looking for a reason to not like this bat. However, after watching my son struggle with another bat for the first part of his season, we switched him to this bat. Since then, he has gone 7 for 8 with only one strike out. I'm not overly impressed with it, but he can sure put this bat on the ball. It doesn't go as far as hit other bat, but what good is the extra distance if you can't hit it during a game?
Cons: I could name several, but they would all be in my mind rather than reality.
by Kansas Baseball guy - May 11, 2012
Pros: This bat has tons of pop and even our big hitters who use 31/32 were were using this, the sweet spot is longer than the bat, the worst hitter on out team hit a homer with this bat (even though he's still pretty good)
Cons: Like many Easton bats, the CXN cracked on the first inside pitch.
by viber - May 13, 2012
Pros: amzing bat hit 3 homeruns in the first game i got it.
Cons: iI had trouble geting used to it.
by t john - Feb 14, 2012
Pros: Light to swing . Working indoor right now. Ball seems to jump off the bat good.
Cons: None
by Vin - Feb 28, 2012
Pros: I bought this bat for my 9 year old son. He loves it. He never owned a composite bat it has plenty of pop and the weight is balanced perfect. He was able to move up from a 28"-16oz to a 30"-18oz with no bat drag very happy with the purchase.
Cons: A little sting outside of the sweet spot but nothing worth complaining about.
by cman - Mar 17, 2012
Pros: its got great pop cant wait till its fully broken in
Cons: the e fell of but it doesnt make a difference in pop

by U11 dad - May 06, 2012
Pros: Seems flat, no pop off this bat
Cons: Seems flat, no pop off this bat
by Daddeh - Mar 24, 2012
Pros: My son uses the 31/19 S1. He has nothing but great things to say about this bat. He said the S1 feels lighter than the old Omen, great balance and great pop. My son just made 11 and is a contact hitter. Would recommend to any one
Cons: none
by John D - Mar 25, 2012
Pros: Very sharpe looking with a different sound than most bats! It rocks when my 8yr old hits that sweet spot! Driving the ball about 180 in coach pitch!
Cons: End cap came off after about 25 pitches. Put it back on with a little glue and hasn't fell off since!
by Ruben - Mar 31, 2012
Pros: The Carbon Nanotube Technology (CNT) feels GREAT when you hit it on the barrel. Lots of pop and no sting.
Cons: Doesn't go very far when you accidentally hit the ball with junction of the bat (the part between the handle and the CXN that connects both parts of the bat), but I guess it's not supposed to.
by TMac3 - Apr 16, 2012
Pros: Nice looking bat but that is about it.
Cons: This bat has been an expensive disappointment, have not seen the "pop" others have spoken of,very dull sound when contact is made with the ball.My son has one of these and a Combat B4 and the B4 blows it away. (Both are 31' - 12 )
by bob - Apr 21, 2012
Pros: awsome bat great pop
Cons: breaks easily got it it cracked in half then i got the warranty and it started rattling after 3 days
by bob - May 06, 2012
Pros: bad
Cons: see above
by hitter 101 - Feb 14, 2012
Pros: My son used last years -10 Omen as a ten year old and hit 2 home runs. He swings through the ball so much harder with this bat it is scary to pitch to him amazing pop. Worth every penny!!!!
Cons:
by beth - Feb 23, 2012
Pros: This is a great bat. I would recommend this bat to anyone. It has great pop. My son said that this is the best bat ever. He had the combat B1 and he loved it but he cannot use it anymore. I am so glad that we found this bat.
Cons: The only con I have is the E on the end cap was not on their when we got the bat. but that is not a big deal as long as it hits good.
by coach*p - Mar 04, 2012
Pros: Just ordered 32/20 for my 12yr old son & he just used it in a scrimmage for the first time & "WOW" this bat has awesome "pop". Better than his 31/19 Omen & right out of the wrapper can't wait to see it fully broken in. 100% worth the cost.
Cons: None
by Worst bat - Apr 01, 2012
Pros: its a bat
Cons: This bat has no ting in it. I used it in a tournament and hit it in the sweet spot and was a dead ball straight to third!!!!!! Do not buy this bat. I am a very good hitter I have hit a lot of home-runs but no luck with this bat.
by gfgf - Apr 19, 2012
Pros: worst bat i have ever used
Cons: no pop
by - Mar 21, 2012
Pros: AWESOME BAT THE RUBBER LABEL HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF THE BAT, MY KID HITS BOOMS WITHOUT THE RUBBER LABEL.
Cons:
by Laxman - Dec 25, 2011
Pros: Great pop. Easy to swing . Nice balance.
Cons: None so far
by krebs23 - Jan 26, 2012
Pros: GREAT BAT! Well balanced, and the ball jumps off the bat before its even completely broken in...and after its broken in...even better! They say it takes around 150-200 swings to break this bat in, but that wasnt the case for my 9 year old son. Hes only taken around 100 swings with it, and its definately well broken in! I would say its a small step ahead of the Omen, as far as pop.
Cons: It gets scuffed up fairly easy...but what bat doesnt?
by coolkid555 - Jan 11, 2012
Pros: this bat has a ton of pop. right out of the box the ball was jumping off the bat.
Cons: none
by zack (crusher baseball ) - Sep 24, 2011
Pros: bat feels and looks great. only hit it in the cage. ball feels to jump off bat. love the sound.i use the cf4 right now. this bat feel better and my bat speed is much more faster. i have a game on sunday, cant wait to try it out live.
Cons: it stings when i miss hit on end of bat. cf4 did not do that. but when you hit it right, it feels good.
by Thomas M - Oct 17, 2011
Pros: Great pop, easy to swing, very large sweet spot and it is just as good if not better the the omen. It is still good for power hitters because it is stiffer then your typical two piece but it will have some flex for contact hitters. Also it is the same as the omen just different paint job. Overall AWESOME BAT!!!! Please by it you will not regret it.
Cons: I screwed up the break in process so I will have to exchange it. Here is a tip: Do Not use those yellow softer balls they use in the cage it can damage the composite and if you want to break the bat in evenly do 100-150 soft tosses and turn the barrel one fourth every pitch if you want it to break in right.
by chris - Mar 21, 2012
Pros: worst bat ever it has terrible pop and my grip is ripped.I bought this bat instead of the omen and that was the worst decision of my life
Cons:
by PL - Oct 17, 2011
Pros: This bat is at the top of its class. Very simple yet cool look and has the pop to back up the price tag. Grip is phenomenal and the bat seems to be sturdy and solidly made. My son is hitting very well with this bat. Great investment.
Cons: I can't think of one.
by Ruben - Oct 15, 2011
Pros: No sting at all when miss hit. CNT makes the ball fly through the air even when you do not hit the sweet spot.
Cons:
by Ackie - Oct 26, 2011
Pros: Great balance. Nice pop. Perfect for my 8 yr old 28/16oz
Cons: Every kid on the team wants to use it!!!!!
by Banchi - Oct 05, 2011
Pros: 32/20 hits like a 22 feels like a 19 due to Easton placing a weight inside closer to the handle - same weight faster bat speed - head movement is great - when stepping up to major you need the speed - not so much the weight - F=MA
Cons:
by rudedud - Oct 06, 2011
Pros: bat is light, easy to swing. hits great. ball comes off hard. grip feels good. love the sound. much better then the omen. had them both. sold the omen. i also use the cf4 gold. they both hit about the same. but S1 does make your swing speed way fast. great bat
Cons: the only thing is that this bat has some flex to it when you hit a ball. i was hoping the it was more stiffer like the cf4. i use the cf4 all last year. i like the S1 better even though it has to much flex for me. u12 baseball club player

Ask QuestionCan I assume the S2 (-13, aluminum barrel) has a lower MOI than the S1 (-12, composite)?

If you are comparing bats of similar lengths, then yes, the S2 will be lighter and have a lower MOI.

My son is 4 ft 5 in. Tall and uses a Omen 28/18 bat and swings it well. Thinking of getting a 29 in. bat. Is this a good bat or the Easton XL1?
Asked by KK on May 08, 2012
The Easton S1 will have a more balanced swing weight, better for a player who needs some bat speed. The Easton XL1 will have an end loaded feel, better for a power hitter.
· May 08, 2012
I got the Easton S1, and up to this point it has been very successful. It has a lot of pop and is light. However, I now notice that there is a weird rattling sound in the barrel. It is obvious something inside the bat has come loose. Any ideas on what could be wrong? Is it fixable? If its not, will it affect its performance?
Asked by tatertot on May 06, 2012
Typically the rattle you are hearing is caused by a piece of composite material or glue that has broken lose inside of the bat. This is not something that will affect the life or performance of the bat. However, if you are worried about it, something that like should be covered under your manufacturer's warranty.

My boy is 10yrs old and is the clean up hitter. He's is 4' 11 and is around 115lbs. What lenth and is this the best bat for him?
Asked by RAY on May 04, 2012
A 31 inch model would be recommended based on his height and weight. Unfortunately, there are dozens of high end bats on the market nowadays and there is not just one that will be the best for a particular player. The S1 is Easton's top of the line bat and is definitely a high performer.
· May 04, 2012
I am the fourth batter and need a 32/19!!!! What should I get XL or Speed?
Asked by Ryan on Apr 25, 2012
If you need a 32" 19 oz. bat, the only option is the Easton S1. The Easton XL1 Youth is not produced in that size.
· Apr 25, 2012
How many balls must be hit and is it ok to hit them off of a tee in order to properly break this bat in?
Asked by Landon on Apr 25, 2012
We recommend talking between 150-200 hits either off of a tee or soft toss starting at about 40% power and increasing the closer you get to the 200 hit mark. Also, make sure you rotate the barrel between each hit and use the same balls you would normally use in a game.
· Apr 25, 2012
My son is 9 he weighs 56 lbs and is 54 in tall. He is a good contact hitter but needs more power. Would the s1 be a good bat for him and what size would you recommend?
Asked by hodgie on Apr 24, 2012
The Easton S1 is a balanced bat with a very light swing weight. This should help your son improve his swing speed to add a little more power. Based on his height and weight, a 29" or 30" model would be recommended. I wouldn't go too much heavier than whatever bat he is currently swinging.
· Apr 24, 2012
Can the bat be used in cold weather (less than 50 degrees F)? What happens if it is used?
Asked by BT on Apr 23, 2012
It is recommended to not use any bat in temperatures lower than around 50 degrees. These colder temperatures tend to affect the balls, making them more dense, which increases the chances of damaging your bat.

I cant find any information on the new stamp rule taking effect next Little League season 2013. Would this bat be legal for 2013. What is this new rule all about? Is this a new composite rule or do alloy bats have to be stamp compliant? I'm also considering the anderson techzilla. would the 2011 techzilla be compliant?
Asked by hurls on Apr 19, 2012
Little League will not be requiring a new stamp for their youth bats. The only upcoming rule change in regards to stamps, comes from USSSA. USSSA will be requiring a new BPF 1.15 stamp on their youth bats, but not until 2014. The YB11S1 will still be legal in Little League in 2013 and beyond. The YB11S1 also features the new USSSA stamp and will be legal in USSSA this year, next year and beyond. The Techzilla is also Little League approved.

My son used the Nike Aero CX2 Youth Baseball Bat and loved it but it is now illegal for Little League play. Does this bat compare to it? He used a 30/19 and makes good contact and hits for power.
Asked by Lj0233 on Apr 11, 2012
The Easton S1 is a great choice if he is used to playing with a Nike Aero CX2. The S1 is very similar in design and feel to the CX2, so your son should have no problem using this bat and should be very pleased with it's performance!
· Apr 11, 2012
How does this bat compare to the Easton Convert? Which do you recommend for an 11yr old who plays travel ball?
Asked by game time on Apr 11, 2012
Two-piece fully composite bats like the Easton S1 tend to have better pop. The Easton Convert is a two-piece bat with an alloy barrel and a composite handle. The Easton S1 will use top of the line composite material and would be a great choice for a competitive player.

Asked by awesomeness on Apr 09, 2012
The S1, S2 and S3 are all very well balanced bats and designed with light swing weights. And they all are great options for a contact hitter. The S1 is their top of the line bat and is two piece, all composite. The S2 is two piece with an alloy barrel and composite handle. The S3 is one piece all alloy. The S1 has a ton of pop and would be a great option. Based on your size, a 31 inch model would be recommended.

My son is 7 yrs old and playing coach pitch. He is around 50 pounds and 46 inches tall. The league allows 2 5/8 inch barrels. My son needs to improve bat speed but has good hand eye coordination. What bat do you recommend? Triton 27 inch 15 OZ? Easton SL11S110 27" 17oz? Aloha and Thanks.
Asked by lance on Mar 27, 2012
Since your son is so young and he needs to improve his bat speed, I would suggest going with the Triton 27" 15 oz. This bat is lighter than the S1 and will probably be easier for him to get around.

Asked by KMartin on Mar 01, 2012
Thank you for your question. The Easton S1: YB11S1 Youth is going to be a balanced bat. Easton's S Series is their balanced line and the XL Series is the end loaded line.

The YB11S1 is designed with a balanced weight to give the player a faster swing speed and more power.

What's the hitting break in period?
Asked by jowstah on Mar 01, 2012
We recommend taking 150-200 hits either off of a tee or soft toss starting out at about 40% power and increasing the closer you get to the 200 hit mark. Also, make sure you rotate the bat about a 1/4 of an inch in between each hit to ensure an even break-in all around the barrel of the bat and use balls similar to the ones that are used in games.

I'm contemplating between the S1 and the S2. My son is 53in. 64 lbs, has a better than average swing speed. Can't decide between the S1 or S2, and a 30in. or 29in bat. He currently uses a 29 drop 13 Easton reflex. Suggestions?
Asked by Alex on Feb 24, 2012
Based on his height and weight we suggest a 30" bat. We suggest the S1 because it is an ounce heavier and if he has good bat speed he should be able to handle the extra ounce.

You are correct. The Easton S1 is the model that has replaced the Omen. The S1 and the Omen are going to be pretty similar, but the S1 is going to be slightly more balanced and a little more durable.

Which bat would you suggest for my 11 year old son who is 5' 3" and 110 lbs. He will be playing in the majors division the S1 or the CF4 ST?
Asked by Dee on Feb 09, 2012
Both the DeMarini CF4 and the Easton S1 are going to good choices. The CF4 is going to be a double wall design that will help with the durability and strength to maximize power. The half and half system this bat features is going to help redistribute weight for optimal balance, which will allow the player to swing faster with less effort. When it comes to the East S1, the bat is going to be pretty balanced as well, which will help keep the bat balanced in the swing zone. It is also going to feature a lower moment of inertia (M.O.I.) which will create a lighter swing weight and generate more power. I don't think you could go wrong with either bat.

My 9 year old son is currently using a -13 Easton Surge 29/16. Good contact hitter w/ good bat speed. Looking for more pop off the bat. Would a 29/17 Easton S1 be a good replacement?
Asked by flash1 on Feb 07, 2012
If you are looking for a youth bat that is pretty comparable to the Surge, I would suggest checking out the Easton S2 located here: http://www.justbats.com/product/easton-s2--yb11s2-youth/14533/. This is the bat Easton created to replace the Surge. This bat is going to be a good choice for contact hitters and is evenly balanced which will help keep the bat level through the swing zone. This bat also features the lowest Moment of Inertia (M.O.I.) on the market to create light swing weights and help generate more power.

Selecting the right Easton bat for my 9yr old son. He is 5ft y'all weighing 85 lbs with a compact powerful swing. Loves his rival big barrel for select but needs a bat for little league. Which Easton model do you recommend. S1, S2, XL?

I would recommend the XL3 if he is a power hitter. It is slightly end loaded but the drop is light enough he shouldn't have any problems with swing speed.

My son is 8 and is one of the smaller players. He has trouble with power but is a good contact hitter That is why I want to buy him an S1. He used a 27/17 easten surge last year. He is 52 inches tall and weighs 54 pounds. My question is what is your opinion about the S1 youth 2 1/4 barrel 28/16 vs the 2 5/8 barrel 27/17. What will give him more bat speed.
Asked by Mvyacoach on Jan 17, 2012
the 2 1/4" is going to be 2oz. lighter for him, it will be easier for him to swing, but the 2 5/8 barrel is going to give him more coverage.

In regards to my first question, our little league in Hawaii does not allow for a bigger barrel or coach pitch bat. All bats have to be in the 2-1/4" variety. He also is currently swinging a 27" -14 combat d2 tee ball bat, and has good control over the length. Are there any other suggestions you could make? I'm looking for something that he can take up to coach pitch. His d2 has seen better days, and I didn't want to buy him another tee ball bat with only a few games left. Also he is 47" tall and weighs about 51 pounds. Thanks
Asked by Aloha State on Jan 10, 2012
Some of the more popular and better performing 2 1/4 inch youth bats on the market are the DeMarini Voodoo DXVDL, Easton S1 YB11S1, DeMarini CF5 DXCFL, and Combat B4 B4YB1. All of these are offered in a length to weight ratio that your son would be able to handle. Based on his height and weight, a 29 inch bat with a weight between 16 and 18 is recommended.
· Jan 10, 2012
My son is currently playing tee ball and is moving up to coach pitch in a month. Can he use this bat for both? I know a $200 bat is a little excess for a 6 year old, but he like baseball and swings pretty well. With that side will this bat give him more pop of the tee, and off a coach pitch? I'm willing to spend the money, if hitting the ball farther helps him build more confidence.
Asked by Aloha State on Jan 10, 2012
I would be looking at coach pitch or junior big barrel bats. A good choice is the Easton XL3: JBB11X3 Junior Big Barrel. I would suggest a 25 inch, 15 oz.

Asked by bfacekapsi on Jan 09, 2012
It will really depend on what kind of bat you are looking for. The S1 is a two piece all composite bat and will provide more flex than a one piece bat like the Exogrid. If the player doesn't have a lot of strength, I would recommend the S1.
· Jan 10, 2012

I just found out my son can swing both 2 5/8" and 2 1/4" barrel bats. Is there a difference between the to sizes that would make a huge difference in pop?
Asked by me agian on Dec 30, 2011
Depending on his age and size, would determine which one would best suit him. Example: If he is 12yrs old and a decent sized kid, most definitely go with the bigger barrel, as that is what is required in high school. If he is like 8 yrs old, and smaller, I'd go with the smaller barrel until he gains a little more strength. The small barrel allows you to go with a lighter weight.
