Pros: The Mattingly V-Force is great. I had the bat for three weeks and already hit 20 homeruns in my games. Also the bat's sweetspot is huge so it is easy to launch the ball. This bat is light but is still powerful. I was a lead off batter looking for a double but now I am looking for a homerun. The bat's V-Grip improved my game and now I am a star player. All of this was only for 70 bucks too.
Cons: None!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mattingly Baseball introduces the new V-Force, a perfect combination of value and performance! Made from Mattingly's MB7500 Performance Alloy, the V-Force is a bat that is made for serious ball players. The V-Force features Direct Power Transfer Technology in which the stiff handle design allows for explosive energy transfer. For the hitter, this means serious power behind every swing! The Locked-N-Loaded End Plug II assists in providing even more power as it maximizes the trampoline effect off the barrel. Mattingly Baseball is the one and only bat company to offer the V-Grip handle system. The V-Grip technology is the concept and design of Yankee Great, Don Mattingly and is specifically designed to keep the knocking knuckles aligned and shift the bat away from the palm and into the fingers—forcing your grip to be in perfect alignment every time. Additionally, the V-Grip keeps the bat from turning in the hands during the swing. Mattingly Baseball: Perfect Grip, Perfect Swing! The V-Force is backed by a Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: theres not really that many pros to this bat but these are the few if u hit the ball in the sweet spot its got some pop and the grip feels pretty good in your hands.
Cons: the sweet spot is sooooo small and if you dont hit it in the sweet spot it hurts your hands like crazy and i have never hit the ball over the fence before and thats pretty unusaul for me i would not recomend this bat at all

Ask Questionwhat is the correct way to grip the bat?..v facing in or out?
Asked by need more hits on Mar 29, 2011
The V-Grip correct aligns the knuckles of the hitter. The knuckls should line up along the point of the V. The point of the V should be facing outwards.
